La Buchla 200e destaca en este proyecto, ¿cómo se hizo parte de tu proceso creativo?
Naturalmente, pues es el instrumento principal con el que escribo y grabo… Tiene más sentido que otros a mis ojos.
¿Qué otros instrumentos empleaste para crear los temas que conforman Sonoio?
MachineDrum, MonoMachine, Jomox.
Desde tu perspectiva, ¿cuáles son las características que definen los discos Blue y Red?
Son simplemente colores.
¿Cuántas entregas más de Sonoio podemos esperar?
Es difícil decirlo.
Me llamó la atención que en tu página web tengas a la venta un pequeño sintetizador, ¿cómo se desarrolló este aparato? ¿Cómo funciona?
Fue desarrollado en conjunto con The Harvestman: la idea fue condensar parte de los sonidos del disco en un instrumento y usarlos como punto de partida para hacer sonidos nuevos.
A lo largo de tu carrera has participado en bandas como The Mayfield Four, Modwheelmood o Blind Old Freak, ¿cómo describes cada uno de estos proyectos? ¿Qué han significado en tu trayectoria?
Fueron grandes pasos en mi vida, cada uno con sus propios pros y contras.
¿Cómo fue tu época en NIN?
Inolvidable.
¿Cómo fue que el mundo de la música electrónica te envolvió?
Progresivamente me aburrí de tocar la guitarra y los sintetizadores parecían una gran herramienta para acercarse a sonidos nuevos, estimulantes.
Actualmente, ¿en qué etapa de tu vida te encuentras?
Realmente no lo sé.

Alessandro Cortini, ex-NIN keyboardist, has a new solo project: Sonoio. He has recorded two albums: Blue and Red.
In an interview, he talks about this new musical adventure.
The “Buchla 200e” synthesizer is remarkable in this project. How did it become a part of your creative process?
It naturally became the main instrument i write and record with….it makes sense more than others to my eyes.What other instruments did you use to create the themes of Sonoio?

Hard to say.I was surprised to find a small synthesizer for sale on your web page. How was this contraption developed? How does it work?
It was developed in conjunction with The Harvestman: the idea was to condense part of the sounds of the record in an instrument, and to use them as a starting point to make new sounds.
They were all great steps in my life, each one with its own pros and cons.How was your time in NIN like?
